about me

Passion, Excitement, Reliable, Trustworthy, Timely, A Sales Closer, Fan-Friendly

These are all traits you likely want from your team's employees and they are descriptors of myself. However, honestly, you can find them in many people. So what do you get from Scott Montesano.

I grew up in Upstate New York  (Utica). Throughout my teenage years I played sports and religiously supported the minor-pro teams in my hometown. At an early age I recognized being a sports broadcaster and working in sports was what I wanted to do.

My first internship came when I was just 17 with a minor league hockey team.  After my freshman year at college I earned a New York State Press Association Scholarship and served as the sports editor for a weekly newspaper.  It was the trampoline I used to leap into my career.  Since then I've had the honor of broadcasting great moments and the privilege of working with many great people.

Away from the office I'm a family-man with a beautiful wife and two children.  I love getting involved in the community, whether it's volunteering as a mentor in schools or assisting the various youth sports leagues anyway I can.  Depending on the town, I try to make my way to as many of the other sporting events as possible.  The best way to interact with the community is to be out in the community.
